10 Reasons Why I Hate Public Transport

You probably know already that I live at home for uni so I basically spend my life travelling on buses. I have learnt to hate them and the people on them with a passion. So I decided to put together a list of reasons why I hate public transport!

1. PEOPLE WITH BACKPACKS. Now I don't mind people who have backpacks, but when someone is wearing a backpack on a packed bus, it takes up the space where another person can stand. TAKE IT OFF AND PUT IT BY YOUR FEET. PLEASE. I'M SURE IT WON'T MIND BEING ON THE FLOOR.

Types of People In Lectures at Uni

I'm in my 2nd term of uni now and I've noticed that there are quite a few 'characters'.... you mainly see these characters emerge in lectures. So I've decided to write a list of the types of people in lectures, so I can see whether it's just my uni or if this is a relatable thing.

1. The sleeper. I have watched someone take a full on nap in the lecture. It was her only lecture for the day and she decided to sleep through the whole of it. What was the point of getting out of bed in the first place?!

Uni Vs Employment || Feat. Tom Bristow

As you can probably tell by now, I like writing blog posts about uni ahah! It's quite a passionate subject for me because, I have had an up and down relationship with uni, which you will probably know if you've read some of my previous posts. When I was in the beginning of my first term, I hated it... I was having constant debates/arguments with my family about what I was going to do. I even remember looking for full time jobs and apprenticeships one morning when I got into uni early haha... but I finally decided to stick it out!
I think the main problem these days are the fact that schools/colleges do not educate students on alternatives to uni! My school in particular forced EVERYONE to complete a UCAS application even if they had their heart set on not going to uni; which I thought was so wrong on their behalf! Schools mainly focus on themselves and their statistics... which makes the students feel pressured to get into uni and only uni... any other option was 'not as good as uni', 'wouldn't get you anywhere in life'. I know for a fact that there ARE other options to uni. Uni is great for some people however, it is not for everyone and that is ok. I chose uni because I was told to believe that it would get me the best outcome in life... however, I am still yet to fully believe that. Therefore, I have decided to do a placement year after my second year, and then after that I will go back for my third year; this way, I am not only getting a degree, but I am also getting a full time paid job and get experience from it, which I can most likely go back to after I graduate!

The 2016 Resolution Guide: How To Get What You Really Want || Guest Post

Ever notice how advertising content changes drastically after the New Year? I’ve been watching a lot of TV in the past few weeks, mainly because it’s how I like to spend a lazy January after a hectic December period, so I’ve plenty of time to realise just how glaring the difference is. Pre-New Year, every advert was gluttonous and encouraged us to eat and drink and be merry, all without consequence it seemed (never a good assumption). But January advertising represents the cold realisation of just how indulgent we’ve been; an onslaught of fitness and health-based products touting how easy it is to be the person you know you want to be.
At this point, I never wanted to see another advert ever again. Let me be clear, it’s not the targeted advertising I have a problem with, because now is of course the best time to shill healthy products and services. What really got to me was the empty and hollow language that promised eternal vitality to anyone who would fork over an extortionate fee.

A couple of weeks ago the lovely Alix Callow from or you may know her from YouTube, contacted me asking if I would like to collaborate with her... and of course I said yes, without a single doubt!

Rollercoaster of a Year || 2015

I cannot believe I am writing this post already! 2015 where the hell did you go? I can still remember New Years eve last year... looking back now, it makes me realise how much has changed this year... it's crazy to think how different it was a year ago!
So in this post I'm going to look back on each month of 2015 and remember the events that happened in those months and what things changed!

Not much happened in this month, all I can really pin point is that this is the time where my blog really took off. After 2 years of blogging, I finally decided to take it a bit more seriously. I made social media accounts for my blog, updated the design and I made a promise to my readers that I would upload once a week, if not more! Back in January I only had a small following, however as soon as I interacted more on social media, my blog grew and now theres nearly 900 of you on Bloglovin and 3200+ on Twitter... which is mind blowing to me!

This was also the time when companies started to contact me more and I was collaborating with a lot of bigger brands... which was also crazy!
