18th Birthday Wishlist & Wantfeed

I thought I would do another wishlist post, as a lot of you enjoyed my Christmas wishlist  but this time I'm also going incorporate my favourite website at the moment :)
My birthday is less then a month away (soooooooooooo exciteeddddd), so this seemed like the perfect time to write my 'Birthday Wishlist'. I am no way expecting to get all/any of these products but I thought I'd share them anyway :)

To create my wishlist and to also inspire me, I used the social wishlist website called 'Wantfeed' founded by one of my favourite vloggers Stefan Michalak! This website is great for finding new products from a variety of outlets and you can share with other people, what you 'want'. To describe it simply... I would say it is like Tumblr meets Pinterest meets online shopping. What more could you want?! If you haven't already signed up to this website, firstly: what are you doing with your life? Secondly: DO IT NOW!

Onto my wishlist:

No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter

(If you know me, You know I love a good snuggle)

MAC 'Velvet Teddy'

Again... I don't expect to get any of these amazing products however, I did have a fun time 'wanting' them on Wantfeed haha!

I hope you enjoyed this quick post... I always like to be nosey and see what people want!

Be sure to follow me on Wantfeed:

And don't forget to follow Stef on all his social media's:
(And if you love a good silky montage)

Comment below what you are hoping to get for your birthday... and if it is your birthday soon... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! <3
I'm just going to add in case anyone asks: This post was not sponsored by Stef/Wantfeed... I just really love the website haha! #notanad is a thing now...

Circa Waves

As I write this, I am having major post concert depression... TAKE ME BACK!  Last night I went to the O2 Shepard's Bush Empire to see Circa Waves, with my friend (who bought my ticket as an early birthday treat... if you're reading this... thank you)!
Circa Waves are an Indie/Rock band formed in Liverpool in 2013... they're set to play Glastonbury and other major festivals this year, and I really think that they are going to get massive!

Before the evening had even started, I had already had a great time... from eating McDonalds, to being slightly disturbed at a man reading a book; what I could only describe as, 50 shades of Grey meets The Big Bang Theory... I'll let you imagine what that book is like...

As we walked towards the venue, we 'bumped' into the lead singer, Kieran... he was so lovely and friendly :) This made the night instantly better!

Then the concert started... the support acts were Rat Boy and Gengahr, who were good but not my chosen style of music! Then CIRCA WAVES! They certainly did not disappoint, in fact they were better then I imagined them to be! If you are questioning on whether you should go and see them or not... stop questioning and book some tickets, you will not regret it!

The highlights of the set for me were definitely Fossils and T-Shirt Weather... they're both my favourites off of their album and they performed them amazingly live, it sounded no different to what it sounds like on itunes. I still can't get over how good T-Shirt Weather was... and because it was the last song they performed, they got the whole crowd to join in and they had such great stage presence... and with it being such a small venue to what I am used to (Wembley Stadium/Arena, O2 etc...) it really felt like they were interacting with everyone in the audience, which made it that little bit more special. Not forgetting the massive confetti cannons which managed to cover everyone in the venue ... a great end to a great night!
I would 100% go and see them again and I all urge you too!

Have you seen them?! Did you go? What was your favourite part?
Or let me know in the comments below, what concerts you have been to recently... I'd love to find out :)

Out with the mauve & in with the nude

Spring/Summer is the perfect time to add to your lipstick collection... it's out with the mauve and in with the nude (goodbye clouds of grey, hello skies of blue), yes I did just modify a High School Musical reference...I'm very proud of that so I'm copyrighting it haha (©).
If someone was to ask me what I thought was my best facial feature, I would say my lips... I don't know why! So this is why I love lipsticks and lip pencils... I am trying to be more adventurous with my lipstick and I am constantly looking for new colours. A lot of people ask me about the lipstick I am wearing in my profile pictures ... so if you want to know more about that one then check out this post.

There are 2 lip products that I have been loving at the moment, so I thought I'd share them with you :)
Both of the products are drugstore and they are the perfect shades for Spring!

If you like the nude Kylie Jenner lip then these two products are a must have! You don't need to splash the cash on a Mac Velvet Teddy lipstick when you can buy two lip products for less than half the price of a Mac lipstick!

Rimmel London Kate Moss (03) is the perfect dupe for Velvet Teddy... retailing at just £5.49, which is £2.00 less than half the price of a Mac lipstick... it is clearly a winner!
It's a perfect nude, which is slightly matte with some sheen. I would say that the colour is like your natural lip colour but a bit more... if you know what I mean. It's a great daytime shade, which looks perfect with both minimal and smoky eyes. It staying power is reasonable, however I did begin to get that 'lip liner' look after a few hours *we've all been there*.

Similarly, the Maybelline Color Drama Lipstick in the shade (630) Nude Perfection is equally a great dupe for the Mac Velvet Teddy. I prefer this one out of the two as it last so much longer, because of it being more of a pencil/crayon then a sheen lipstick. I wore it the other day and I only had to reapply once throughout the whole day... it is amazing!

It's definitely more matte then the Kate Moss lipstick and it does not dry the lips out at all! I haven't got a bad thing to say about this product... and at only £4.99...What a bargain! I will definitely be collecting every single shade out of this collection <3

So want the perfect nude lip?! Go and grab these two beautiful lipsticks to give you that easy leap into the Spring make up trends <3
Comment below your must have lipsticks at the moment... I'd love to find more to add to my collection!

Spring has sprung...

How is it Spring already?! That is crazy! I hope you all have a lovely Easter/Spring break whatever you're doing <3 The lovely Emily from has nominated me for 'The Spring Tag!' ... I love Emily's blog and I think you should all go and have a read of it, because you are missing out if you're not <3 Now on with the tag...

1 . What three colours remind you of Spring?
Anything pastel! Pink, Mint Green, Duck Egg Blue!

2. What is the first thing you add into your Spring wardrobe?
A floral blouse or top.... Last year I bought a white cotton, cross-strap top, which had embroidered flowers along the bottom. It was the perfect top to wear with a pair of skinny jeans! I think Spring can be tricky because it's not freezing cold any more, but it's also not boiling hot... so having a 'Summery/Spring' top with jeans, is the perfect transitional season outfit!

3. What is the first item that you ditch from your wardrobe to make it more Spring like?
Any large knit jumpers! Personally I'm not a fan or large knit jumpers anyway, because they can make me look bigger then I already am, but I don't mind wearing them when I'm layering up in the winter. But as soon as Spring has sprung, they are out of my wardrobe!

4. What are your ultimate nude and bright lipsticks?
Rimmel London Kate Moss (03) is the perfect nude shade... as well as the Maybelline Colour Drama Lip Crayons, especially the shade (Nude Perfection) ... both such great dupes for the Mac Velvet Teddy! For a more vibrant colour, I love the Rimmel London (Drop of Sherry) shade... it's a more vibrant nude (If that is even possible haha) ... I would say, it's like your lips but more! I'm going to be doing a post, maybe next week all about lipsticks, so keep an eye out for that <3 If you want to see my full 'Spring Make Up Tutorial' Click Here

5. What is your signature Spring fragrance?
Either Zoella's Blissful Mistful or Hollister Body Mists! I think mists are better then perfumes for Spring time, because they are more light and fresh <3

6. What do you add or drop from your skin care routine?
I find that my skin goes really weird around Spring time for some reason. Usually my skin is oily, but during Spring it can go quite dry and there will be dry patches all over my face (which I am currently struggling with). So at the moment, I have been using the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream and the Liz Earle Light moisturiser for dry/combination skin, all over my face throughout the day (If I'm not wearing any make up).

7. Do you change your hair up in Spring?
Not really... I have naturally curly/frizzy hair, so I can't do much with it! I like making it a bit lighter though... I usually leave the sun to work its magic and do that naturally though haha

8. Are there any exciting beauty releases that you can’t wait for?
I am going to sound like the worst beauty blogger, but I don't really know about beauty releases until they are actually released haha! So at the moment I have no idea of what is to come in the beauty world ....

9. What are your three favourite nail colours for Spring?
Essie's 'Candy Apple' and 'Lilacism'... Rimmel London 'Pamper Me Pink' <3

10. Who do I tag?
Thanks again Emily for nominating me :) Have a lovely Spring <3
Comment below what you are most looking forward to about Spring... Is it the wildlife? New seasonal make up/clothes? Easter? Let me know... <3
